Sony continues expanding its Xperia lineup, and though the Sony Xperia Z and ZL will be the main players at Mobile World Congress 2013, it doesn’t mean the company won’t uncover other models with “lighter” features. XperiaBlog is one of the best places, where you can find all the necessary info about Xperia range devices, and the rumor I’m going to talk about comes from this source as well. It turns out Sony has already prepared another device, the Xperia SP.
As the source reports, the Sony Xperia SP is packed with a a 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, 4.6-inch display running at 720p, 8-megapixel rear-camera, 8GB of internal storage expandable via microSD card slot. It is the same size as the Xperia T launched at late 2012. The Xperia SP is said to come with an aluminum unibody, though the back is made of plastic. The phone weighs 155 grams.
Mobile World Congress 2013 will start in a few days and if XperiaBlog’s info is true, we’ll see not only the Xperia Z and ZL, but the Xperia SP as well.
